On this day in 2013 (in the great down under that is Australia), These Final Hours enjoyed its first theatrical presentation ever when it played for audiences in attendance of the Melbourne International Film Festival.
Written and directed by Zak Hilditch, this Apocalypse/Drama took a rather dark look into -- as the title suggests -- mankind's final hours inhabiting this Big Blue Marble. It starred Jessica De Gouw (from TV's short-lived Dracula series as well as a short guest-starring stint aboard the CW's popular Arrow), Nathan Phillips (from the very good single season Syfy series Hunters), and Angourie Rice (Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home).
