Who We Are
'On This Day In Science Fiction History' is a blog celebrating the peoples, places, and things associated to the wonderful world of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and (occasionally) the beyond. Our content specializes in celebrating those individuals -- artists, actors, and other professionals -- who've made a lasting impact on genres that continue to make waves around the world.
As 'History' is being made each and every day, the content will necessarily continue to change and adapt throughout the years; and the site manager promises to do all that he humanly can to keep the site relevant ... until such a time as he can receive cybernetic implants allowing him to continue blogging while he sleeps.
Parties interested in submitting trivia to SciFiHistory.Net are encouraged to use the below to do so. Please keep in mind that responses are dependent upon time available to do so; if you're anticipating a specific response, please understand we all have day jobs but will happily reply at our earliest convenience.
In the meantime, 'May the Force be with you,' 'Live Long & Prosper,' and 'So say we all!'
SUBMISSIONS
While SciFiHistory.Net is happy to consider guest submissions from anyone seeking to have material included in our space, we do not have any means to pay for such copy. The site began as an expression of love for all things Science Fiction and Fantasy; and -- to this day -- remains as such. However, if you have something you'd like to see printed in our space and are willing to work with our editors, then do not hesitate to contact us via the form near the top of this page. We do love hearing from people!
For those curious as to whether or not we accepted paid submissions, then the simple answer is "Of course!" Naturally, we have a Fee Structure for such promotions -- along with some basic requirements -- and interested parties are encouraged to contact us directly at [email protected] for details.
ADVERTISING
SciFiHistory.Net is happy to respond to any and all inquiries regarding advertising.
For clarity's sake, advertising includes press releases regarding current and/or forthcoming projects -- including coming attractions or theatrical trailers -- that you'd like to bring to the attention of the site's ever-expanding readership. We're always interested in working with creators, and -- in order to do so -- we have a Fee Structure for our time, space, and talent as does any website. (Trust me when we say, "We're immeasurably affordable and easy to work with.")
Our chief stipulation is that advertising should have somethign to do with the genre of Science Fiction, Horror, and/or Fantasy. (As much as we might be a fan of the feminine form, adverts for private girl chats or pornographic websites just don't 'fit' with the aesthetic we're trying to present.) All inquires can be directed via email ([email protected]) or use the Contact Form below.
Affiliated Websites
The following websites are perhaps better known as "Friends of SciFiHistory.Net." These represent places we've been and relationships we've cultivated that we welcome and promote for the purposes of expanding our circle of influences to the point wherein, together, we might someday take over the world as we know it!
