I never know what to make of release schedules. For example, Only -- written and directed by Takashi Doscher -- played for a couple of film festivals in 2019, but it's sat on the shelf until its inevitable release in theaters until next month (March). Is that delay warranted? Well, it kinda/sorta hints that producers were either waiting for the right distribution deal to come along OR they couldn't quite get the big one they wanted.
In and of itself, that may not mean much, but it does make one wonder about the quality and/or audience engagement factor of the picture.
Again, I'm no expert ... I'm just a man on a mission to celebrate SciFi, so check out the trailer below. If you have any thoughts, feel free to share!
