But thanks for asking and alerting me! It's always good to know folks are keeping an eye out for me; that way, I don't have to worry constantly about seeing things myself as I can just wait for a regular reader to drop me a line. Honestly, it's much appreciated.
Hmm. Black Adam, however, is a character that I never much cared for in comics. Granted, I haven't read all that much with him -- once I discover I'm not interested in said superhero, then I'm far less inclined to pick up something featuring him for a read, that's just the way I roll -- but I've seen enough to know he wasn't in my wheelhouse, as they say. Of course, theatrical versions do tinker with the players and some of their backstories, so perhaps this version will grow on me.
Also, unlike so many others I'm just not a big fan of 'The Rock.' I've seen him in a good handful of movies that I found entertaining, but -- to be honest -- I dont think he's been in anything ever that I'd watch twice ... and that's one of the barometers I personally have to let me know whether or not I'm attached to something in any great way. In some ways, he does like so many others and just plays the same basic character over and over again; such limitations just doesn't draw me in to the talent, and I do tune out.
Still, it is a DC property, and as I grew up being far more enamored with DC stuff than Marvel, I'll definitely see this one when it drops on the silver screen. While it 'feels' a bit too much like a Marvel flick, I'll reserve judgment until I actually see it.
Trailer is below. You folks know what to do.
