Like so many, I'm struggled to get into this current iteration of the Doctor (no fault of Jodie Whitaker, per se, I'm just not 'digging' the stories they've given her). Though it's hard to sit and wait through these delays in the seasons, I do think it's actually been good for the creative folks to utilize a bit more time in crafting new stories for the time traveler. After all, how do you keep a franchise fresh when you've had nearly sixty years of storytelling?
What I have found more interesting as of late is some of the news drifting out here and there from others involved in the program's past, even recent encounters. This morning I stumbled across this clever little morsel at Radio Times, and it's particularly interesting as it kinda/sorta explores that our Doctor eventually suffers a dark fate as well as hints at what River Song's legacy might have been ... or is that yet to come?
