You might ask yourself that question if you -- like me -- enjoyed this Bill Murray Comedy/Classic in theaters when it first played an incredible three decades ago this year. Sigh. Three decades?! Where does the time go? Wouldn't it be great to get stuck in some time loop like Murray did in this so that we'd never age and experience an endless series of opportunities to finally get something right that the universe decided you got so wrong it had to be fixed? Sigh (again). I guess maybe that's just my age showing ...
In any event, I bring Groundhog Day up for the sole reason of letting you know that it's New Releases Tuesday once again, and Sony Pictures has given audiences a new 4K release of the Harold Ramis picture. From what I'm seeing on Blu-ray.com, this collection actually includes a 4K disc, a regular Blu-ray disc, and a digital copy. Yes, yes, yes: those digital copies are pretty grand so that way you can take this one with you wherever you go ... not that the modern age of COVID allows us to go places all that much. Still, it's nice to have, so -- if you're interested -- maybe head on out to the nearest media outlet and pick yourselves up a copy ... either that, or surf on over to Amazon.com and put in your order.
As always, thanks for reading ... and live long and prosper!
