Harry 'Chip' Johnson hailed from that far-off magical land of Plainfield, New Jersey before heading out to the wilds of Hollywood for his four-decade stint in the entertainment industry.  As happens with so many, the actor put his heart and soul into his work despite the fact that he never achieved household name status, but such notoriety never stands in the way of true craftsmen and women.  Though his IMDB.com profile indicates he hadn't worked 'in the biz' for some time, his legacy is still one that deserves a mention in this space precisely because he was a part of so many properties SciFi, Fantasy, and Horror fans know by heart.

Just a casual glance at his background shows that he found screen time in the various worlds of Battlestar Galactica, Captain America (1979), The Amazing Spider-Man, The Ultimate Impostor (1979), Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, The Incredible Hulk, Time Warp (1981), The Greatest American Hero, Real Genius (1985), Airwolf, RoboCop (1987), Bad Dreams (1988), Warlock (1989), Wedlock (1991), Alien Nation: Body And Soul (1995), Roswell, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and Vampires Anonymous (2003).  That, my friends, is quite some contributions.

Our warmest prayers are extended to the family, friends, and fans of Mr. Johnson.

May he forever rest in peace.
