As I've mentioned elsewhere, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year, and I'll be sprinkling a handful of trivia posts throughout the Main Page across the month of May. This is the first of many planned.
Did you know that the BBC's long-running Doctor Who has a costume featured in The Empire Strikes Back ... and it's none other than that worn by the bounty hunter Bossk? Perhaps I'd read this previously and completely forgotten about it. And it isn't that I was unaware of one property borrowing production elements from others (I've known that for years). Still, this one fascinates me on so many levels.
Was this a secret nod to the mythology from Gallifrey? Did this kinda/sorta unite these two universes for viewers watching closely?
As always, thanks for reading ... and live long and prosper!
