Yesterday, one of my Twitter followers posted a photograph of his niece in her classic Star Trek era red dress as she went to work at NASA, and I thought it was an inspiring moment about how Trekkies, Trekkers, and general Trek enthusiasts have followed up their passion in real life. I treasure moments like these.
Well, this morning I stumbled across something a bit more hands-on in the realm of Star Wars: Tampa's News Channel 8 reports on their website that an off-duty police officer who just happened to be dressed in her Stormtrooper costume helped flag down and stop a driver who was traveling the wrong way on the freeway!
Given the fact that Stormtrooper's can't shoot for crap, I think this moment is equally amazing! Surf on over and check out the story if you're interested.
As always, thanks for reading ... and live long and prosper!
