Star Trek Turns 52 Years Young!
For those of us who follow these kinds of annniversaries, Star Trek is the veritable 'Mecca' of televised Science Fiction. This past Saturday -- September 8th -- the series turned an incredible fifty-two years old, another milestone worthy of our time and attention. There were a host of articles all across the web, many of which were essentially retreads of so much praise and adolation that has been written before. Still, the following piece over at Syfy.com caught my eye (link), and I thought it worth sharing with interested readers. It's more of a trivia-style piece, which makes it different from the usual celebratory fare just a bit, and that's why I thought it unique.
