Why wait for The Transformers to show when you've ready, willing, and able to do it all yourself ... including transforming into a high-tech automobile? That would seem to have been the whole idea behind Turbo Teen which premiered on this day (in the U.S.) all the way back in 1984. Developed by Michael Maurer on behalf of Ruby-Spears Productions, the show featured the voice talents of Frank Welker, T.K. Carter, Pamela Hayden, Pat Frayley, and Michael Mish.
