Austin, TX – August 20, 2025 – American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) and Mutant are thrilled to announce a nationwide theatrical celebration of RE-ANIMATOR’s 40th anniversary, featuring Ignite Film and Eagle Rock Picture’s stunning new 4K restoration of Stuart Gordon’s 1985 cult classic. The screenings begin this September, with tickets officially on sale today at participating theaters.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary, RE-ANIMATOR fans attending these screenings will have exclusive access to Mutant’s limited-edition screenprinted poster by Phantom City Creative and glow-in-the-dark t-shirt designed by Rucking Fotten. Both are available only at these screenings and nowhere else.
