Alas, dear readers, I know very little about the origins or the ongoing saga of Ultraman.
For clarity's sake, I do believe I purchased a copy of what might very well have been the original TV series of Ultraman for my collection. In fairness, I suspect it was one of those really great priced Amazon.com deals that even I couldn't pass up; and I succumbed. It was a show which I also think I caught a few episodes of in my youth, and perhaps I just wanted to see if I was correct. Whatever the case was, I haven't quite gone back to it ... but that may have to change as Mill Creek Entertainment is arguably making it hard to pass up on a multi-box saga collection under the name of Ultraman Ultra Galaxy Fight that is hitting retailers just this week. The company alerted me to their January 7th release date -- yes, it's up for ordering on the aforementioned Amazon.com right here -- and it is indeed a very, very, very nice price for several hours worth of genre-heavy nerdy goodness.
Again, folks, I'm only passing along the information here. This post is no review, so consider this one of those 'Buyer Beware' situations ... but can you really go wrong at that price?
