On this day in 1973 (in the United Kingdom), the big city of London, England played host for an exclusive theatrical premiere engagement of Don't Look Now. Directed by Nicolas Roeg from a story by Daphne Du Maurier, Allan Scott, and Chris Bryant, the film starred Donald Sutherland, Julie Christie, Hilary Mason, and others. "A married couple grieving the recent death of their young daughter are in Venice when they encounter two elderly sisters, one of whom is psychic and brings a warning from beyond."
