Good morning, gentle readers!

A new trailer has dropped for a little something-something called Cold Storage, and I wanted to share this with the readership.  IMDB.com has this categorized as an Action, Comedy, SciFi, and Thriller, all of which pretty much assures that it's right up our respective alleys.  While I'm not seeing a great deal of pre-publicity information available as of yet, I'm happy to share what I've been able to find with a little digging just moments ago.

Directed by Jonny Campbell, the script shows attributed to David Koepp, a name many of you should be familiar with given his long-established presence in the realm of the Fantastic.  His name has been attached to such screen adventures as Jurassic Park (1993), The Shadow (1994), Stir Of Echoes (1999), and Spider-Man (2002) just to mention a few.  Campbell looks to have really built a track record in television -- Doctor Who, In The Flesh, and HBO's Westworld have episodes attached to his profile -- but there are a handful of motion pictures tossed in there for good measure.  According to IMDB.com, Cold Storage stars Liam Neeson, Joe Keery, Georgina Campbell, Lesley Manville, Sosie Bacon, and others.

Additionally, here's the plot summary as provided by our friends at IMDB.com:

"Teacake and Naomi, two young employees of a self-storage company built on the site of an old US military base, have their wildest night shift ever when a parasitic fungus escapes from the lowest sublevel of the base, where it was sealed by the government decades before. As the temperature rises underground, this highly contagious and rapidly mutating microorganism multiplies and unleashes its brain-controlling, body-bursting terrors on the facility's inhabitants - human and otherwise. With time running out, it's down to Teacake and Naomi, with the help of a grizzled retired bioterror operative, to contain the merciless menace and prevent the explosive extinction of Mankind itself."

Otherwise, I'm not seeing much information available out there in Cyberspace on this one.  I believe one press account I read indicates that the film is based on a novel previously published by Koepp; and, indeed, a quick search of Amazon.com indicates that Cold Storage was published in 2022 by Harper Paperbacks.  The website indicates it has a strong reception, maintaining roughly a four-star average (out of five) presently based on nearly 3,500 readers.

In any event, here's the trailer.  You know you love to watch.
