On this day in 1949 (in the U.S.), the good people of Ann Arbor, Michigan were treated to an exclusive theatrical presentation of It Happens Every Spring, its first screening of record. Directed by Lloyd Bacon from a story by Valentine Davies and Shirley W. Smith, the SciFi/Comedy starre Ray Milland, Jean Peters, Paul Douglas, and others.
