I've just received notification via a distributor relationship to the forthcoming release of a little something-something called Dead Mail. From what I can find online, it looks like this nifty little Horror/Thriller earned a bit of extra attention from screenings on the film festival circuit -- where a good number of productions receive buzz from industry insiders -- and is now slated for a VOD premiere on April 18, 2025 (if IMDB.com is to be trusted).
Written and directed by the team of Joe DeBoer and Kyle McConaghy, the picture stars Sterling Macer Jr, John Fleck, Tomas Boykin, Susan Priver, Micki Jackson, Nick Heyman, Sean Heyman, Aaron Phifer, Michael Cambridge, Micah Fitzgerald, and others. "An ominous help note finds its way to a 1980s post office, connecting a dead letter investigator to a kidnapped keyboard technician."
Unless I'm misinformed (which can happen), I do believe I have access to pre-screen this one thanks to my stewardship of SciFiHistory.Net. It definitely looks and sounds like something that might tickle my fancy, so I'm encouraging like-minded folks to both check out the trailer below as well as 'watch this space' as -- if I can swing it -- a review will be forthcoming.
